They won't view that baby as a parasite when they can't get pregnant later in their life because of their previous abortions. If you don't want a "parasite" growing in you, don't have sex. Very easily preventable. Even if you view it as a parasite, you are killing a parasite that has the potential and without intervention could or will become a child.

Myth! Abortions have no effect on fertility unless something goes wrong during the procedure.
Yes, and do you know how often something goes wrong and no one knows about it until they cannot concieve. A lot. A placenta can only implant on a part of the uterus that has never been implanted on before. So if you have multiple abortions it makes it difficult for the placenta to find a clean place to plant. There are things like birth control to prevent you from having children. Use them properly, or if you never want children, get your tubes tied. It's not that hard to prevent pregnancy, but you are taking a risk of creating life and if you are having sex, you should accept responsibility.

Yes, but at that point, you are making an effort to prevent it. If you get pregnant at that point, accept that you were meant to get pregnant, and if you don't want the child, give it up for adoption.

I'm pro-choice. Ok, I'm not pro-choice when it comes to people who 'Can't have the baby because I'd booked a ski-ing holiday in a few months.' True case scenario. Though, at the same time, maybe it's best that that woman had an abortion as it would be unfair on the child to have a mother like that. For me it's a case of life vs. quality of life. I believe life begins at conception, but, I don't see that it's wrong to take away that life when, if the mother were to have the child it could potentially ruin the life of both her and the child, I mean, sure they'd be physically alive, but if it was an unwanted child and the mother was unable to support it, would either of them HAVE a life? If it's a particularly young mother, if giving birth could kill you, if you were raped, or if, for whatever reason, you are totally incapable of looking after the kid, abortion should be allowed. I say 'totally incapable', and I mean it. I don't mean, oh, you're not that well off, because if it;s a child you love then you should be able to look after it no matter what, I mean, people have done so throughout history. If you can give it everything it needs (not necessarily what it wants) then you should have it. I don't think abortion's right, but I do think that, in many cases, keeping the baby is less right. I mean, if I got pregnant, I'd have an abortion. I'd feel terrible about it, (I know a lot of people wouldn't, and fair enough on them) but I'd feel worse if I had the child, as would it. And as for making it illegal, that's stupid! Even if you're totally against abortion, can't you see that it would still happen? But in ways that would seriously endanger the life of the mother?
------- Oh, we talked about nothing which was more than I wanted you to know.
