Critisizm hurled right toward me And jokes and irony Interperrted the wrong way. Expected to gracefully glide away Instead they cling and drape around me Hide themselves beneath my skin. Forever kept within me Driving me past the point of hate. Compliments thrown Now and then Slide quickly off my skin Slimy and greasy And to me so untrue. Just Cant believe One single good thing Not a single thing to combat the lies I force myself to believe.
