but lately I've been wanting to sit at lunch with other people, my other friends. But we're a lunch group and I know it'd hurt them if I left...and one of my friends doesn't get along with many people, and the other friend wants to hang out with her, so I can't just take them with me. I don't know how to be nice about telling them that I want to get a chance to hang with other friends.

Tell them you were asked to help someone with homework or something.
Don't completely strand them, but that will give you a reason to not be with them ALL the time.
