And does it mean they like you?

Like today, a cute girl helped me out at the bank. She noticed I had been a customer for six months and asked if I wanted to upgrade my account. I said, sure, and just like that she did it. Now, no more monthly checking fees, or statement fees! Woohoo!

Another girl managed to get me out of an overdule fine at the video store! I mean, it's only on a couple dollars, but still!

They didn't have to do that for me. Do they like me on a more personal level?

The lady at the bank is probably supposed to offer that to anyone who is eligible, the girl at the video store, maybe.
And if they do like you, it isn't on a "personal" level, they just think you're hot.

That happens to me all the time even by customers in line, people always volunteer to help me from both sexes.

Like Ill be in line with no money and try to buy a soda, and I'll say, "oh, how embarassing I forgot my wallet" and someone in line will buy it for me.

When I worked as a waitress I was always extra nice to customers unless I had a reason not to be.  I generally feel good about being sweet to people for no reason.  I'm not sure if other people are like that but I wouldn't mean anything by it if I was either of those girls.
