2 years isnt a real big diffrence. though peoples replys have said your not emotionaly on the same level.... well i think you would have to be to fall in love with each other. and imean okay your 16 old enough to make some decisions by yourself so i say y not.

First of all, a post doesn't have to be original...a post is a post. You don't like my posts, don't read them...plain and simple. As for the penis question, it really doesn't matter to me. As long as he has one and I'm not dating a female...then it's fine with me. I don't care about that kind of thing. We both care about each other a lot and it's not a long distance relationship. I was just curious to know what other people's opinions are. The general opinion seems to be the same. I do believe, however, a limit must be set (i.e. a 15 year old and a 35 year old. Big no no!). That's just my opinion on the matter anyway.

i dont think that age matters, as long as you both love each other why should such a small factor such as age come into it!!!

What a tangled web we weave..You love people for them, not their age, right? So what's the problem? 16 and 18 is no biggy! My mate, who is 15, is currently ENGAGED to a 29 year old. That's right, you didn't read that wrong!! He's 29! They've been going out since she was 13.. A 14 year age gap is something worth questioning over.
hmmm...does your friend go on these forums? Cuz I think she needs to slow down (just a tad). Age gap - i like the 3 years one for teenage years. My distant cousin or something is 25ish and she is engaged to a 42 year old, who is rich....i think thats wrong, but its funny to joke about in the family...who knows what will happen (Edited by stevek at 2:10 am on Sep. 27, 2004)
*sniffsniff* Is that a gold digger I smell?? Nah, I'm sure they're a lovely couple.. :D As for my mate, slowing down doesn't seem like an option! She's happy, he's happy, and they seem to be genuinely in love! Her parents, who were, and still are, good mates with the 29yr guy, seem to have gotten over the whole OMG-YOUR-DATING-MY-15-YEAR-OLD-DAUGHTER factor, so I guess there's no stopping them now.. HOORAY FOR ILLEGAL SEX! :8

I think for the situation of a 16 yo and an 18 yo, age doesn't matter. Their maturity levels are around the same. I think age doesn't matter. But it depends on the people. Generationally, a ten year gap for example can really set two people apart. But it might also help. I always wanted to be with older guys. But for this point in my life, it won't work. Come two or three years, i'll be more of an adult and age gaps won't matter. When you are a high school, college aged individuals; your mind is still developing, your identity still developing... a huge age gap would just end in disappointment.Anyways, just make sure its legal, its ok with your family, and you guys have stuff in common besides sexual attraction. Then, you'll be OK.

I don't think the 2 year age gap makes a difference. If you both like one another, and have things in common - the ages difference shouldn't come into it. Age differences are only really noticable due to laws and things set out for us from when we were little - like school year groups... (I'm English so... it works a lil differently) but, someone going out with someone in a different year group would be seen as "wrong" due to the difference in "maturity" when to be honest everyone matures differently any. Logic has it someone will get to some one who is at the same maturity level as they are - that would play an important part in the bond in the first place!!? :) (i think!)
